    The compact turret design is specifically sized to clear the restrictive tunnel openings in first-gen F-bodies without cutting sheet metal. Machined from billet aluminum and anodized for long-term corrosion resistance, this shifter mounts directly to the TKX's rear case position.     Q. Why do I need a different shifter? A. The MDL Qwik Stik has a smaller top turret to clear the tunnel shifter opening. It is a short-throw shifter with lightning quick response, it is anodized for long life and has no stops to break or replace, as well as many other features over the stock shifter.
