Description
Tri-Five Chevys have notoriously narrow transmission tunnels, and the stock TKX shifter turret won't clear the factory shifter opening. The MDL Qwik Stik solves this problem with a precision-machined billet aluminum shifter assembly that mounts directly to your TKX transmission, bringing the shift lever up to the factory position without tunnel modifications or cutting.
This isn't just about fitment - the Qwik Stik delivers genuine performance advantages. The close ratio/short throw design cuts shift travel for faster gear changes, while Belleville washers provide the positive detent you need for clean 2-3 shifts under power. The machined shift stub features standard 7/8-inch on-center mounting, so your favorite aftermarket shift lever bolts right up. With no stops to break or replace, the Belleville spring system allows easy servicing when needed.
Specifically engineered for 1955-1957 Bel Air, 210, 150, and Biscayne applications with 2" left and 2.6" or 2.9" forward stub offset positioning. This rear-position front socket shifter places the socket at the front of the transmission for optimal clearance. Note: This shifter does not include stops. Recommend a MDL Side Shift Front transmission configuration for proper operation.
