Description
Getting the shifter in the right spot on a TKX swap can make or break the interior of your build. The Qwik Stik eliminates fabrication headaches by bolting directly to your TKX transmission and placing the shift lever exactly where it needs to be—no guesswork, no trial-and-error mockups. This rear-position, rear-socket configuration features a 2-inch left offset stub with either straight-up or 0.5" forward positioning to dial in factory-style shifter placement in tight tunnel applications.
Precision-machined from billet aluminum, the Qwik Stik delivers a significant weight reduction over cast alternatives while maintaining the rigidity required for aggressive, high-RPM shifting. The TKX is rated at 600 lb-ft of torque and capable of shifts at 7,500 RPM—this shifter is engineered to keep up. Belleville washers create a firm, positive detent that makes rapid 2-3 shifts clean and predictable. The no-stops design means you will never break a stop or need replacement parts for routine maintenance.
The 7/8-inch on-center mounting pattern accepts most aftermarket shift levers, so you can run your preferred lever and knob combination. A high-temperature lower dust boot seals out debris and keeps transmission fluid where it belongs. Note that this shifter does not include integral shift stops. MDL highly recommends pairing this shifter with an MDL Side Shift Front transmission for optimal results. Made in the USA.
