The TKX transmission's stock shifter sits approximately 2 inches too far backward for proper 1968-1972 Chevelle/Malibu console placement. The MDL Qwik Stik solves this positioning problem while delivering superior shift performance. This close ratio shifter brings your TKX shifter up in the correct factory position with a smaller top turret specifically designed to clear the tunnel shifter opening—no guesswork, no fabrication.
