Description
Add classic hot rod style to your shifter with the Flame Series shift ball. This 2-1/8" diameter knob features translucent yellow polymer construction with bold red flame graphics molded beneath the surface--they will never fade, chip, or wear off no matter how many miles you put on the car.
The shift ball is constructed from high-impact polymer resin specifically formulated for automotive applications to resist stress cracking as it ages. At its core is a precision-machined 16mm x 1.50 brass master insert that delivers rock-solid thread engagement. The brass insert is engineered to exceed automotive industry specifications, tested to 200 ft. lbs. static pull strength and 20 ft. lbs. twist torque. At just 4 ounces, the knob provides positive feedback without adding unnecessary mass to your shift lever.
Thread adapters are available separately to fit various shift lever thread sizes--contact MDL with your shift lever thread pitch to get matched with the correct adapter.
