TWIN DISK

RST Series

Intended for the high horsepower street fan, the McLeod RST twin clutch kit is an economically priced twin disc clutch kit that does not require a dedicated flywheel( you use your existing flywheel) in most applications. Able to handle 800hp, this clutch can handle almost any horse-power you can throw at it and still remain street-able. Organic lined clutch discs will provide smooth engagement with a soft pedal effort to make this clutch kit ideal for the street performance enthusiast.

Kit Includes Pressure Plate, two organic friction discs, a floater plate, an adapter ring, and a pilot tool.

RXT Series

Intended for the high horsepower street/strip fan, the McLeod RXT twin clutch kit is able to handle 1000hp, just like the RST this clutch can handle almost any horse-power you can throw at it and still remain street-able. Organic lined clutch discs will provide smooth engagement with a soft pedal effort to make this clutch kit ideal for the street performance enthusiast.

Kit Includes Pressure Plate, two organic friction discs, a floater plate, an adapter ring, and a pilot tool.

ST-246 SERIES

Unlike many of the “performance clutches” on the market, ST-246 clutches were designed from the ground up as a true performance twin-disc clutch and not an OEM-type stamped steel pressure plate with a floater added.

Featuring an aluminum clutch cover that shares technology from Tilton’s championship-winning line of OT- Series racing clutches, ST-246 clutches feature heavy-duty straps that attach the pressure plate and floater plate to minimize noise. ST-246 clutches are available with either sprung-hub organic discs for street applications or solid-hub ‘cerametallic’ discs for street/strip applications.

Kits are available for popular Chevy and Ford applications with either sprung-hub organic discs (850 lb-ft capacity) or solid-hub “cerametallic” discs (1250 lb-ft capacity).

FEATURES:

Higher torque rating than most competitors
Chromoly integrated ring Gear on a Chromoly Flywheel

Aluminum Pressure Plate, for less rotating mass

A Floater plate twice the thickness of most others, which allows for a solid hub (1250 lb/ft), eliminates gear clatter, provides much better heat dissipation.
