      MD-401-2109-TKO is designed to use the all Ford 3550/TKO/TKX five speed for those that are making alot of power. Comes with Updated self-centering, continuous duty release bearing. Release shaft is machined for the early lever clutch release. If you need lever extended cluitch release see MD-401-2109s-TKO.

      Special Notes

      Requires our MDL Flathead conversion clutches to be integrated for proper clutching. If you need the slotted/flat-end shaft, see MD-401-2109S-TKO. The adapter does not fit with a four-speed transmission as the input shaft is too short.

      Q. When should I consider a TKO or TKX behind a Flathead? A. When you have make a great deal of power for a Flathead would we recommend a lager TKO or TKX behind a Flathead. Otherwise we recommend a Ford V8 T-5 for this application. See our custom Front shiffted T-5s.
