Description
Transform your front shift T5 with a shifter engineered specifically for MDL's forward transmission configurations. The Qwik Stik solves the clearance and ergonomic challenges of front-position T5 installations with its compact turret design and precision offsets—fitting where stock shifters simply won't work.
This shifter has been specifically engineered to work only in conjunction with the MD-510-1001 front shift T5 tail shaft housing or any MDL front shift T5 front position transmission. The small turret clears restrictive floor openings while the billet aluminum construction saves weight over cast alternatives. A high-temperature lower dust oil boot keeps gear oil where it belongs, and the 7/8-inch mounting center accepts virtually any aftermarket shift lever.
Engineering matters: Belleville washers provide excellent detent feel, delivering crisp 2-3 shifts through thousands of cycles. The no-stops design eliminates a common failure point—instead of mechanical stops that can break, the Belleville spring system provides positive detent control that's easily serviceable when needed. Multiple stub offset options (2" left, straight up, or .5" forward) let you dial in the perfect shift position for your application.
Attach your shift lever, boot, and shift knob and you're all set. Note: This shifter does not have any stops and will not work with standard shift position tail housings.
