Description
When you run an MDL front-shift T5 tail housing or convert a Mustang tail housing to front position using an MDL shift block, factory shifters put your hand in the wrong spot. The Qwik Stik Shifter solves this problem with a 1" or 1.5" forward offset that moves the stick back to factory-feel ergonomics while delivering short-throw performance.
Engineered specifically for MDL front-shift applications, the Qwik Stik uses a compact billet aluminum turret designed to clear tight floor openings where larger shifters won't fit. The close-ratio throw reduces shift travel for lightning-quick gear changes without sacrificing accuracy. Belleville washers create positive detent that locks each gear with authority, eliminating the vague feel of worn-out factory shifters.
The no-stops design is a key advantage: there are no plastic or metal stops to break or replace, and servicing the shifter is straightforward when needed. The 7/8" on-center mounting accepts most aftermarket shift levers, so you can finish the installation with your preferred lever, boot, and shift knob.
This shifter works exclusively with MDL MD-510-1001 front-shift T5 tail housings or any MDL front-position T5 transmission. It does not work with standard shift position tail housings. Made in the USA with lifetime technical support from MDL.
