    Description

    Bent Z-bars, worn pivot balls, and heavy clutch pedal effort are problems of the past. The MDL Eliminator Series external slave cylinder converts your 3-4 speed Ford Small Block mechanical clutch linkage to smooth hydraulic operation while keeping your existing clutch fork and pressure plate assembly in place. No need to drop the transmission or swap to an internal hydraulic release bearing - this kit saves you time and money by mounting externally.

    The Eliminator Series removes the mechanical linkage entirely, improving pedal effort and feel while providing clearance for aftermarket headers and power steering boxes. The slave cylinder mounts to your existing bellhousing bolts without modifications, pushing the clutch fork from behind. An adjustable push rod lets you dial in the exact engagement point, and the cylinder housing can be clocked to position the AN-4 fitting facing sideways or upward for optimal line routing.

    Engineered as a complete system, this kit pairs seamlessly with MDL's LF Series and Stealth Series master cylinder kits. The system requires a master cylinder throw distance of 1.4 inches for proper operation. Installation requires just 1 inch of clearance in front of the bellhousing.

    Q. Why won't my transmission go into gear? A. Check your 'Master Cylinder throw distance, it should be 1.4". You may have to adjust your clutch pedal height in the vehicle. Q. Why is my pedal bottoming out ? A. Adjust your clevis and your pedal, balance the amount of adjustment you need between the two until your pedal does not bottom out anymore. Q. My pedal feels spongy and the slave cylinder does move right away. A. You have air trapped in the system, re-bleed the system again, follow the bleed instructions, or see the video on bleeding hydraulics on this page under the Video Tab Q. What type of fluid do I use in my clutch hydraulics? A. DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid only in this application. There is no need for high temp brake fluid. Q. Will this kit work a stock clutch pedal? A. Yes, it will fit an original factory pedal and an OE reproduction aftermarket pedal.
