      Detailed Design.

      MD-401-2109-T5 is designed to use Front shifted 83-93 Ford V8 T-5 instead a S-10 T-5 with low gearing not well suited for a V8 Flathead. Comed with Updated self-centering, continuous duty release bearing. Release shaft is machined for the early lever type clutch release. If you need later extended shaft release see MD-401-2109S-T-5.

      Special Notes

      If you need the slotted/flat-end shaft, see MD-401-2109S-T5. The 32-52 Flathead to Ford T5 Adapter plate does not fit with S10 T-5 Ford 83-93 Mustang T5 transmission sizing ring.Requires MDL 10" Flathead conversions clutches. ** Requires our Flathead conversion clutches.'.

      FAQs

      Q. Will this adapter work with a "Ford pattern" S-10 T-5? A. While the bolt pattern is the same the S-10 has a longer input shaft with a smaller bearing retainer od base. Our adapter was not designed for S-10 T-5. S-10 T-5 are geared low and are not ideal for Ford V8 flatheads.
