When swapping a TREMEC T5 (with Mustang tail housing) or T45 into a classic or restomod build, getting the shifter in the right spot is half the battle. The Qwik Stik solves that problem with precision-engineered stub offsets that bring your shift lever exactly where it belongs - 2" left with your choice of 1.95" or 2.45" backward positioning - putting it right at hand in the factory location without cutting, welding, or trial-and-error fabrication.
The precision-machined billet aluminum construction delivers the lightweight strength builders demand. The compact top turret design slips cleanly through factory tunnel openings without interference, while the anodized finish resists corrosion and wear. The close-ratio design shortens your throw distance for lightning-quick gear changes - exactly what you want on a spirited backroad run or at the track.
Unlike conventional shifters that rely on stops to limit travel, the Qwik Stik uses Belleville washers to provide consistent, crisp detent pressure. This design delivers a firm, positive feel on every shift - especially that critical 2-3 upshift - while eliminating the stops that commonly wear out or snap on stock units. No stops also means easier servicing when needed. The 7/8" on-center mounting accepts most aftermarket shift levers, allowing you to finish the installation with your preferred handle, boot, and knob.
Fits TREMEC T5 transmissions with Mustang tail housing and all T45 transmissions. Not compatible with Camaro or S-10 T5 applications. Made in the USA.
