Description
The factory shifter on T5 and T45 transmissions is built for cost, not performance. Long throws, vague engagement, and poor positioning are the norm - and if you've swapped a T5 or T45 into a classic chassis, you're also fighting to get the stick in the right spot relative to your tunnel opening. The Qwik Stik solves all of it: a complete short-throw repositioning solution that brings the shift lever up to factory position while dramatically improving shift quality.
Every Qwik Stik starts as a precision-machined billet aluminum plate that bolts directly to your transmission case - no adapters, no guesswork. The compact top turret is specifically sized to clear restricted tunnel openings that swallow factory shifters. Inside, Belleville washers provide excellent detent feel for quick, confident 2-3 shifts - a common weak point on stock units. The no-stops design eliminates the plastic or stamped-steel limiters that break on other shifters, and makes future servicing straightforward: you can get in and out without major disassembly.
This variant features a 1" left, 1.95" or 2.45" forward stub offset with rear shifter and rear socket positioning. The 7/8-inch on-center mounting pattern ensures compatibility with virtually any aftermarket shift lever. Attach your lever, boot, and knob - you're done. Fits TREMEC T5 transmissions with Mustang tail housings and T45 transmissions. Note: this shifter will not fit Camaro or S-10 T5 applications.
