    Swapping a T56 Non-Magnum or S-10 T5 into your Camaro usually means one thing: cutting the floor. The factory shifter opening wasn't designed for these transmissions, and stock shifters won't clear without major surgery. The MDL Qwik Stik solves this problem with a narrow shift body engineered specifically to pass through the factory tunnel opening - no cutting, no grinding, no compromise.

    Machined from billet aluminum, the Qwik Stik delivers close-ratio, short-throw precision that transforms your shifting experience. Belleville washers create excellent detent for lightning-quick 2-3 shifts, while the spring-loaded design eliminates traditional stops that can break or bind over time. When you need to service the shifter, the stop-free architecture makes maintenance straightforward.

    The 1.65" or 2.15" backward offset stub positions your shift lever in the factory location. The 7/8" on-center mounting pattern ensures compatibility with most aftermarket shift levers, giving you flexibility in your final setup. A high-temperature lower boot seals the transmission against dust and oil contamination.

    Q. Why do I need a different shifter? A. The MDL Qwik Stik has a smaller top turret to clear the tunnel shifter opening. It is a short-throw shifter with lightning quick response, it is anodized for long life and has no stops to break or replace, as well as many other features over the stock shifter.
