    Description

    Transmission swaps into classic chassis rarely put the shifter exactly where your hand wants it. The factory hole is in the wrong spot, the stock shifter sticks up at the wrong angle, or the lever lands too far right for comfortable daily driving. The MDL Qwik Stik solves these positioning headaches with a precision-machined direct-mount shifter designed specifically for TREMEC T56 Ford Windsor and S-10 T5 applications.

    This configuration features a 1" left, straight up or .5" backward offset that pulls the shift lever toward the driver. When you need additional forward reach - common with bench seats or deep tunnels. Both positions maintain the Qwik Stik's trademark short-throw, close-ratio feel. The billet aluminum construction keeps weight down while the compact top turret clears tight floor openings without requiring sheetmetal surgery.

    The engineering eliminates mechanical gear stops entirely. Instead of bolted-on stops that can break under hard use, this shifter lets the transmission's internal synchronizers control engagement naturally. Belleville washers in the pivot mechanism create positive detent feel - you'll know exactly when you've locked into gear, especially through the critical 2-3 shift. The 7/8" on-center stub mounting accepts most aftermarket shift levers, so you can run your preferred setup without adapters.

    Each Qwik Stik is precision-machined and anodized for corrosion resistance, then assembled with a high-temperature lower boot that seals out dust and keeps gear oil where it belongs.
