Description
Shifter placement can make or break a swap. Too far back and you're stretching mid-corner; too far forward and you're cramped against the console. The MDL Qwik Stik eliminates the guesswork with engineered stub offsets that let you dial in exactly where the shift lever lands in your interior. This front-position shifter delivers 1" left, straight up or .5" forward positioning to accommodate everything from tight classic car tunnels to wide pro-touring consoles.
The precision-machined billet aluminum base mounts directly to your TREMEC T56 Windsor or S-10 T5 transmission, taking all the worry out of shifter placement. Belleville washers provide the detent action, delivering that crisp, positive engagement on 2-3 shifts that separates a quality shifter from a sloppy one. Unlike designs with built-in stops that require transmission disassembly for service, this Belleville spring configuration with no stops allows easy maintenance when needed.
The 7/8-inch on-center mounting pattern accepts virtually every aftermarket shift lever on the market, so you can run your preferred handle without adapters. A high-temperature dust boot keeps transmission fluid in and road grime out. Just attach your shift lever, boot, and shift knob - no additional fabrication required.
