Description
Factory T5 and T45 shifters are notorious for sloppy feel, vague engagement, and broken plastic stops that leave you hunting for gears at the worst possible moment. The Qwik Stik Shifter solves these problems with a precision-machined billet aluminum design that replaces the weak OEM components with bulletproof construction and a close-ratio, short-throw action.
The engineering centers on Belleville spring washers that create a firm, positive detent without the hard stops found in factory shifters. Since the T5 lacks internal transmission stops, aggressive shifting can bend shift forks--the Belleville design prevents over-travel while remaining easy to service when needed. The compact turret profile clears tight floor openings, making this shifter ideal for classic builds where tunnel clearance is tight.
This shifter fits TREMEC T5 transmissions with Mustang tail housing and T45 transmissions. Available with either 1.65" or 2.15" forward stub offset to position your shifter in the factory location. The 7/8-inch on center mounting pattern accepts virtually any aftermarket shift lever. Note: This shifter will not fit Camaro or S-10 T5 transmissions due to different mounting configurations. No internal stops are included with this design.
The precision anodized plates mount directly to your transmission, eliminating guesswork during installation. Attach your shift lever, boot, and shift knob and you are ready to row through the gears. Engineered and manufactured entirely in the USA.
