Precision CNC machining from billet aluminum delivers a shifter assembly that's lighter than factory and substantially more rigid. The compact top turret design is specifically sized to clear factory shifter openings without requiring tunnel modifications - a critical advantage when you're dealing with the tight confines of a Mustang transmission hump. Belleville washers replace traditional detent mechanisms, providing consistent spring pressure that delivers positive gear engagement and the crisp 2-3 shift feel serious drivers demand. Unlike conventional stop-based designs, the Belleville spring setup allows easy servicing when needed and eliminates stops that can break under hard use.
The 7/8" on-center mounting pattern accepts virtually any aftermarket shift lever, giving you flexibility in your final setup. This particular configuration positions the stub 2" to the left of center with your choice of straight up or .5" forward offset, allowing precise shifter placement for your specific chassis and seating position. The anodized finish provides corrosion resistance and long-term durability in demanding conditions.
Direct bolt-on installation to TREMEC T5 transmissions with Mustang tail housing and T45 transmissions - no fabrication required.
