Description
Installing a clutch pedal in an early Mustang usually means contorting yourself under the dash to remove the pedal support - a frustrating job in a cramped footwell. This reproduction clutch pedal solves that problem with a removable pivot shaft that bolts into place, letting you install the pedal without disturbing the factory pedal support. It is a simple engineering improvement to an otherwise stock-style pedal that saves real time on auto-to-manual conversions.
The pedal works with all factory pedal supports, whether your car started life as an automatic or manual. For automatic conversions, there is no need to source a separate manual brake pedal - simply trim the left side of your existing automatic brake pedal pad using the manual pad as a template. This approach reuses your factory mounting points and keeps the conversion straightforward.
Laser-cut from steel with CNC bends, this pedal duplicates the original geometry while delivering the precision fit and clean lines you expect from a quality reproduction. The black powder coat finish protects against corrosion and daily wear. Note that when using with clutch cable or hydraulic release systems, the pedal spring is not used.
Fits 1964-1/2 through 1966 Mustang. This is a reproduction pedal engineered to replace the original equipment part. Made in the USA.
