Description
The OEM hydraulic slave cylinder in fourth-gen Camaro and Firebird F-bodies creates a bleeding nightmare. The concentric slave cylinder sits inside the bellhousing with limited bleeder access, and early '93-'97 LT1 cars have no external bleeder at all. Air pockets turn clutch bleeding into a time-consuming ordeal that often requires removing the transmission. This remote bleeder kit solves the problem by extending the bleeder point outside the bellhousing for shop-friendly access.
The kit centers on a 10-inch stainless steel braided line that replaces the rigid OEM quick-disconnect with a flexible solution providing clearance around headers, steering components, and other underhood obstacles. The custom MDL fitting threads directly into the OEM slave cylinder body, while the opposite end terminates in the factory quick-connect for seamless integration with your existing hydraulic system. The -4AN fitting provides a standard connection point.
The integrated bleeder valve moves the bleeding point from an inaccessible location inside the bellhousing to wherever you route the line end--typically through the clutch fork opening for easy wrench access. The included line clamp secures the assembly to prevent vibration damage and maintains proper routing. This eliminates the guesswork and frustration of bleeding a hydraulic clutch system you cannot see or reach.
