“I purchased a hydraulic clutch conversion kit to install a T-5 in my 67 Mustang in 2015. The components in the kit were excellent and high quality. We installed it in 2015.
Twice I had local mechanics decide the clutch needed to engage closer to the top of the pedal travel. Twice the slave cylinder overextended and pushed the slave cylinder piston out as a result.
Paul, Steve, and Bruce gave us excellent phone support. Bruce reviewed the math behind the dimensions to be held for the master cylinder, and slave cylinder, and even offered some suggestions for a shop to help if we could not solve the situation.
Don’t forget – this is a system purchased over 8 years ago.

Subsequently, I was approached at a local show by a person planning on installing a T-5 in a 69 Mustang. I told them to get the conversion kit from Modern Drivelines and follow the dimensions in the instructions. I’ll give anyone the same recommendation moving forward.”
