bringing the shift ball up into the factory position.

MDL has released an OE Appearance shift lever for the ’78-79 Bronco when you install Tremec’s new TR4050 4WD 5-Speed Overdrive Transmission.

This shift lever works with our exclusive short-throw shifter assembly, bolted to the top of the transmission.
And any other 2-bolt stub, 7/8” center-to-center bolt-spacing shifter assembly, just like Lokar and Hurst products attach to.
This shift lever incorporates a 3/8″-24 thread size for your favorite shift knob, or if you want a new one we have those too.

The shift lever has a durable satin black powder-coated finish and 3/8-24 threads on top…
It lays back through a double bend and leans toward the driver so it feels just like the original.

Also available is the short-throw shifter assembly,    MD-303-4050.

The mounting bolt-hole size is 3/8” I.D. with 7/8” center-to-center spacing.
